The current Hyundai Sonata has been somewhat of a disappointment for Hyundai. Although the car has no serious faults, it doesn’t stand out from its current competition. On the heels of the successful Genesis and Genesis Coupe, Hyundai has now turned its attention to the Sonata, and gave it all that it was lacking.
At the Frankfurt Auto Show, Hyundai unveiled the all-new Sonata, and at first glance it’s clear the automaker has increased the style and luxury quotient by great lengths according to one dealer specializing in used Hyundai Sonatas Kansas City. Hyundai has made it clear that the redesigned Sonata, unlike its predecessor, will set the standard for luxury, technology, and quality, in the mid-size sedan segment.
In addition to a fresh exterior that features a sweeping roofline mimicking “four-door coupe” sleekness, Wausau Hyundai dealers say the Sonata is longer, wider, and lower than before. The Sonata is also powered by a range of four cylinder engines mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The new Hyundai Sonata will be equipped with unique features including Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill-Start Assist Control, and Brake Assist System – all of which will make the Sonata more competitive among today’s car buyers says Used Cars Boise. The Sonata will even feature a system that will assist the driver during parallel parking. Pricing has not been released, but expect a base price under $20K.
